Changes All Around
The topic of this week's report will be all about the recent policy changes that occurred in the Kingdom of Habbo! Some of these changes were made for the benefit of our members, some were to improve KoH & it’s surroundings.
One of the changes, which has probably been noticed quite often, is the rank requirement change for wearing non-uniform. Previously, as most of us know it was only those in Warlord+ division who were permitted to wear no uniform, however it has now changed to Trades Worker+. The way I see this change, it gives a little freedom to the LRs (Low Ranks), so they don’t need to be “stuck” in the uniform throughout their path to becoming a HR (High Rank). Something similar to this has also changed, regarding Low Ranks. During our theme days, our LRs used to only be allowed to change their hairstyle, hair colour, skin colour & head accessories. Now it has changed, and our lovely LRs are allowed to fully change, as long as they wear the Theme Day Attire which can be found on the Main Website (Policies > Attire Policies). It lets the members be able to participate a bit more during these days!
This rolls up to the addition of Freedom Fridays. You may be asking/wondering, “What exactly are these “Freedom Fridays”?” Well, they are the days where members of any rank (Peasantry+) are free to wear whatever they wish (As long as it follows the attire policy), and the members are permitted to use coloured chat. However, rules are still to be followed at all times. I think this is a pretty great addition, it adds a little bit more fun for our members!
Previously, members were not allowed to sit or stand in the hallways, unless they were Royal Guests, but that has been changed. KoH members now permitted to sit and stand in the halls, however stations mustn't be neglected, meaning they still need to be filled when needed. Stations are still priority, no matter what. :) I believe it has been added to make communication between members somewhat easier, for example if they want to communicate with Guests, or if there are no stations available at the time.
Our promotion timeline has also happened to change. Members usually had to wait much much longer to gain promotions, making it harder and more challenging to go through ranks (Unless the members used Pay Points to get promotions). It has been changed, however it won’t be made “simple” and “easy” to rank up, because if that did happen there wouldn’t exactly be a point! The timeline is here to ensure accurate and fair promotions amongst the members :)
In general, these changes are basically new to everyone! There will be so many changes occurring in the future, we should prepare & get used to them pretty quickly. Please do keep in mind that whatever the changes are, they are for the best of KoH and it’s members, and they have been thought over by our Founders very well. <3
