Attire-ing Ordeal
Hello! This week I will be discussing the Attire Policies that are currently in place, and giving my general opinion on it :)
No matter where you go, there will always be a policy for clothing, or there should be at least. Whether or not it’s work in real life, or school, or even work on Habbo! There will always be something set, that everyone needs to follow. It isn’t something we can “avoid”, really.
I will be focusing on our policy in the Kingdom, rather than anywhere else. For a start, you will need to be aware of the actual policy that is in place. You can go to our Main Website and then navigate to Policies > Attire Policies. You should be able to read all the following:
General Attire Rules

Low Rank Attire
Royal Officials Attire
In Line Attire
I believe that the policy that is set in place at the moment, can be seen as fair, or at least in my opinion they are. It doesn’t matter what rank or division you are in, you are still required to follow certain rules regarding the clothing, such as:
A shirt and pants/trousers must be worn at all times.
Head accessories/masks that cover 75% of your face are not permitted.
Regarding LRs, and them wearing uniform, I do believe it is a pretty good idea.
You get to work your way up to being “free” from wearing this uniform all the time, which, if you think about it, can be fun. Wearing the uniform does not make you seen as something “less important”, or “not worthy”, or “boring”. Having the uniform, and wearing it just shows everyone that you are on your way to getting higher and higher in the Kingdom. Of course, some members believe differently, and will think that the uniform is stupid, and unfair. But, please do not let anything from that bother you. I know myself how it was to have to wear the uniform constantly, until that one certain rank, but look on the bright side! No matter what, in the end everyone ends up wearing whatever they choose!
Once you become an RO (Royal Official aka High Rank), that is when you are able to wear what you wish, however there are still expectations. For the RO attire, the rule is:
“Outfits must adhere to the general attire rules and must be appropriate for work.” If something is deemed as inappropriate, the member will be told to change.
When it comes to our iL members, the rule is:
“All iL outfits must adhere to the general attire rules and must be appropriate for work. All iL members must be dressed in a royal & professional manner at all times.”
No one in the Kingdom really has “freedom” when it comes to attire. Like previously stated, everyone, no matter what rank you are, is expected to follow rules and policy.
Overall, I think that everything that has been put in place is very fair, and for the meantime nothing should be altered. However, I do have a small idea that may or may not, be set sometime in the future. I have seen this/heard of this at one point, and I thought it would have been a nice thing to do. And this would be:
The members who are currently required to wear the uniform (Members from Peasantry up to Castle Worker Division), can wear whatever they want every Friday. They would still need to follow the policy & rules, it would need to be seen as appropriate, and the members will be required to wear the uniform again the next day.
I don’t know about you, but I think it would be a fun & interesting thing to do, seeing the LRs be creative with what they wear!
