Welcome to another Ask TKC, and this week I will be answering questions based on a few topics that some people may be afraid to openly ask :)
I’m scared to ask, but can I wear accessories with my KoH uniform? What about hats?
Hats and accessories are allowed, of course, however if you are in Peasantry, Trades Worker or Castle Worker division, you are required to wear the uniform, and have some limitations as to what you can change. As a Low Rank, you are permitted to change skin colour, hair and head accessories. You are not, however, able to add things such as a scarf of necklace, since that is not part of the original uniform. You must make sure that whatever you are wearing, does not cover 75% of the face, and it is not on the Banned Clothing List, which can be found under the Attire Policies. Please do remember, “The clothing chosen must be deemed appropriate by an iL member. If asked to change, members must abide or face punishment.” Once you reach Warlord+ Division, that is when you are allowed to wear whatever you wish, as long as it isn’t on the Banned Clothing list. Do not be disheartened if you’re not at that rank yet, you will get there sooner or later!
Wow, the base looks so cool! Does it always look this spooky?
It does indeed look really cool! However, no, our base does not always look this spooky. It was requested by a few members to decorate it like that since we are in the month of October, and it gives base the feel of Halloween coming up, it gets members engaged, and hopefully inspired! We usually decorate it in different ways for many occasions, such as Christmas, Easter etc.
I’m a little nervous about doing my first transfer. Can you give me any tips?
We all get nervous doing our first transfer, but it’s normal! So do not worry.
One of the tips I believe is pretty helpful, is to do everything in order. You should firstly check their badges, to make sure they have been on the Security Badge for a minimum of 5 days (If not, then they would be offered lower), and make sure that they are a High Rank in their agency. Once the badges have been checked, go to the agency website, and count up how many divisions they are in. Using the transfer formula, you would check what rank can be offered. An example could be:
A member from UN comes to the Transfer Desk, and they are in Leadership. That will be 8th division. The formula for UN is +3, meaning you would add 3 on, and the final offer will be 11th division, which on our Ranks List is Kingdom Vigilante!
Another tip that would be helpful is to ask someone to observe you process the transfer and help you throughout it if you have any questions/problems. Of course, having someone watch you may make you somewhat more nervous, however they are there to help you, and have also been in the same place as you have been, doing their own transfer for the first time, so they do understand what is it like.
I just noticed there is 2 different forums. Should I register on both?
We have two different forums, for two different uses. Our General Forums are there for things like logging (Promotion Logs, Training Logs, Pay Logs etc.), forum games & spam zone, competitions, etc. You should definitely register for that, since it will allow you to know about any announcements, it will allow you to gain pay points too, and it is required to have a forums account if you get to Trades Worker+
The other forums are the Team Forums. These forums allow you to apply for teams such as The Kingdom Chronicles, Recruitment Team, Library Team etc, and they are also there for Team Documents. You should register whenever you want to apply for a Team, also you will be required to make an account once you reach Ranger+, since you will be permitted to process transfers and that is an important part in the Kingdom.
My friend visits a lot but he works at a different agency. I don’t think he wants to join us, but I’ve seen some people walking in base that don’t work here. Can he do that too?
In the agency, we have two groups which are called The Kingdom’s Royal Guests and The Kingdom’s Honoured Guests.
The Kingdom’s Royal Guests are allowed in base access, along with the VIP area, and they must be wearing the badge at all times. This can be bought for 50c, or given to iC members from different agencies.
The Kingdom’s Honoured Guests are allowed access to the VIP area, but are not allowed to go into base. This can be bought for 25c.
Your friend has probably got the Kingdom’s Royal Guest badge, therefore he is allowed to walk around in base, so you have nothing to worry about! But please do make sure that he wears the badge & follows the rules at all times, even if he works at a different agency!
