What's With The Pop?
Throughout the time Habbo has existed, the meaningful importance seems to be the population of rooms. Population makes more people interested in the room and possibly thinking “Oh, high population, must be worth visiting!”. Different people have different opinions on the whole population, some say it matters and some say it doesn’t.
Today, I’ll be looking deeper into the topic of population in the Kingdom, what are the thoughts on the low population throughout the past weeks? How can we improve it?
As many of you have probably noticed, the population during the week has been pretty low at times, or the activity in base, being said. There have been less people in base, BTBs being called. Of course, some people may be bothered by having to sit in an empty base, and can possibly get bored without having someone to talk to. However, what are the reasons why it has been so low recently? School. Ah yes, school. The school days have started, meaning piles of homework and loads of studying! Oh no. This can possibly get in the way, and limit how much time members will be online for during the day. But, we need to respect and understand that, since we can’t just get rid of school...Unfortunately. Another reason could possibly be internet issues. Problems with the internet can result in disconnecting multiple times, lagging a lot, or not even being able to come on at all! It’s pretty understandable though, so you shouldn’t worry if you’re struggling with any of those issues.
Now, how can we improve the population? Well, there’s more than one way to help boost the population in the Kingdom, and one of these ways is to encourage others to come BTB, and then encourage them to bring more people! You can also try getting your friends to join, since that would be helpful towards BOTH the population and the Kingdom itself. The more the merrier! Another little way to hopefully help the population is to conversations in base. Yes, it may sound a little silly, and you may be thinking “But how on earth is that meant to help the population?”. Well, if you are having a conversation whilst new members are coming into KoH, they will be able to see that you don’t just sit and send simple welcome messages, but you can actually engage in lovely little conversations here and there. It may help, it may not, but either way, that’s something you should/can do! Lastly, a way to boost the population is pretty simple, bring in your alts! The alts will be sitting in FTB, helping the population stay high at all times. It’s a good way to help the room, however we cannot just depend on these alts. We need to try our best & actually try gaining new members, try getting population with legitimate accounts!
Although the population has been low, we shouldn’t let that stop us from being the great agency that we are. We are strong and we will stick with each other, helping the Kingdom, no matter what <3
