Today I will be answering questions about teams & transfers! The Transfer Unit is a part of the many teams that we have, and these transfers play a pretty important role in the Kingdom. Transfers help members from different agencies be able to join without having to start again! It’s great, right?
“It was better for me to transfer here with everything I learned. I feel free; I’m doing my thing”
1. What is the process of transferring?
A member from a different agency comes and sits at the Transfer Desk patiently, until someone finally comes & assists them! You might come across some people who, unfortunately, spam the Baroness bot. If this ever happens, politely tell them to stop :) For the process! You start of by checking if they meet the Transfer Policy, and that is that the member needs to be a High Rank, the main ID badge needs to have at least 500+ members, and you must be on security badge for a minimum of 5 days (HOWEVER, this has been changed. If a transferee isn’t on the agency’s security badge for more than 5 days, the transferrer can offer a lower rank based on the number of days missing from the 5 required. For example. A transferee has been on the badge for 3 days, the transferrer will offer the rank that is 2 below what would originally be offered)
Once they are eligible for the transfer, we check what rank we can offer! We use their website & count up the divisions, use the special Transfer Formula and then see which rank we offer on our Ranks List! Once they accept the offer, we give them their new rank and they are ready for training!
2. What training will need to be completed?
Once the rank has been given and accepted, we automatically get them to do Trades & Castle Worker training, if they can of course! This training is necessary as they will need to learn how to work security & training. We don’t want them confused & getting told off for doing everything wrong!
3. How can I figure out what my rank can do?
On the ranks list, on the main website, under each division it should say what each can do! For example: Trades Worker - (Ability to fill the security - FTS) Castle Worker - (Ability to fill the training - FTT) Warlord - (Ability to promote)
And so on! It’ll always be there for you so you can check now and then.
4. What are teams and how do I join?
Teams are one of the things that make up KoH. They are seperate groups of individuals who are responsible for doing the tasks given for each team they are in! On the main website, you can navigate to Education > The Kingdom’s Teams, and there it will explain everything you need to know about these teams that are in the Kingdom! Being part of a team is a great experience, and it’s always nice being able to help KoH even in a small way.
Now, to joining teams! Some teams are invite only, and those are IA (Internal Affairs) and EA (External Affairs). So for these teams, you will need to work VERY hard to get the honor to join them. For other teams, it’s fairly simple. On the main website, navigate to forums, then team forums and you will be directed to the forums where you can apply! Just make an account & go ahead and post that application for any team you want. Of course, there are rank requirements, so be sure to check that beforehand. Once you’ve applied, you will need to be patient. It may take a few days to get a response back, and if you don’t get in a team, don’t get upset & give up! There is always another chance sometime, and there’s always many other teams.
5. How do teams affect KoH?
I see these teams as VERY helpful for KoH. Without these teams, we wouldn’t be having alliances, we wouldn’t be having announcements or forum moderators. All this would be thrown onto our Founders, and that would give more stress! So be very thankful for these teams that we have. Teams expand the Kingdom and overall help it grow! They are here to make our members more busy with tasks & special quests that they are given! Teams are a great way to gain more experience with things that could be useful in the future, and they definitely are VERY fun! Some teams also allow you to show your talents to KoH, for example TKC & Graphic Designers. Overall, these teams affect KoH in a positive way! And I highly encourage you to join some if you haven’t already.
6. What are typically things that happen in a week in KoH?
Promotions, of course! They happen every day of the week. You will be seeing them around everywhere, probably all day! That is definitely a typical thing to happen in KoH.
Trolls, yes. You will probably see them at least once a week, or even more than once! But whenever a troll happens to come, please handle the situation maturely and responsibly. We don’t want any arguments between trolls & our members, since that makes the situation worse! Just be calm, and call an iL if one isn’t available at that moment and they will deal with it for you. These silly trolls shouldn’t ever bring any of you down, no matter what is being said/done
The General Meeting! Probably the thing that excites individuals the most. It happens at 8pm GMT, and you will be lead to the meeting room where you will be told important information by one, or two, of the founders! You will also then be told to line up for pay or promotion. This is a typical thing that happens, and it can be pretty exciting to some!
