A Rose For You

There is a story about the soul of a skeleton still living inside of him on this very day. He has been through a journey of love and fear, tears and laugh, and eventually it ended with him death in a coffin. How did he end up there? Why was he so fancy dressed? There was found a note inside his pocket on the day he died.

To my beloved Amelia.

You were standing in the sun, surrounded by everyone. Your laugh filled my soul with joy, like nothing could ever destroy. Your smile, your eyes I caught in the act, so precious and beautiful like a magic artefact.

I would never believe this day would come, where you looked over at me and my body was numb. In my silence towards you, I was drawn, like the enchanted beauty you were of a swan. My lips were sealed and my heart beat fast, nothing could ever make me forget the past.

June 15th, I received a letter. The shocking news made a change in the weather. I went to your funeral just a few days later, but my mind wanted to think of something greater. In a moment, my heart was turning black, it really felt like a heart attack.

I’m drowning and now you're gone, I was waiting here from dusk to dawn. Wherever you are, you can’t hear me bleed. You're way too far, wont you hear that I’m in need?

I took a rose out of my pocket, the very same you gave with your locket. The time was spinning and my mind went crazy, How would I ever live without my daisy?

I went to the dock where we first met, the birds were singing a beautiful duet. All dressed in purple, I was ready to fly. It was time for me to finally say goodbye.

Thank you for all the joy you gave. It is time to dig my very own grave. I can not live without you, my sweet Amelia, So I will take my life with a drop tequila.
