The Enchanted One

The speaker that stands at the door
Tells others of great news
What he does must be a chore
He speaks, but has no muse
He was enchanted for falling in love
As if falling like a dove
He fell hard in awe and wonder
He hit like a rod of thunder
The enchanter who gave him the curse
He was truly the worst
He enchanted him for falling so hard
That it really left a scar
They fell for the same maiden
So the enchanter decided to do a slight trade-in
He allowed the speaker to have the maiden
On one condition…
The speaker must release his physical form
This put the maiden in a tight position
She could not see her love
So they drifted apart
And their love truly fell like a dove
