Happening this week #28

Friday14th July, 2017 - Welcome to this week’s issue of TKC! This is the 28th issue of “Happening This Week”. Each week, you will be informed of all the happenings in KoH with this one report. This includes events, statistics, and more! Remember, each day something new happens at KoH, so the badge counts and such may have changed by the time this is written and published. Let’s jump in and see what’s been going on this week! Members in New Divisions:

As always there are a few new members who joined our kingdom throughout the week. Those who got promoted to A new devision and maybe left after joining for A while. Please welcome and congratulate all of them for joining and for working hard to get promoted.

Events this week

Friday 7th: Freedom Friday As you may know we have a rule where you have to wear uniform (if in The Kingdom’s Commoner devision) and use white chat at all time. Freedom Friday is a day of acceptance. This day you are allowed to use colour chat as you want and dress up as crazy as you feel like (as long as it is appropriate). You do not want to miss out on this chance, especially if you are in the Kingdom’s Commoner devision. Everyone can do this no matter what their rank is.

Tuesday 11th: Hangman - GAME A game where the host give you an empty sentence and A set of given letters for you to put in. The winner is the person who can guess the word/ sentence correct first. There will be given a specific theme for the game. Example, this week the theme was KoH. The first sentence was _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ [XIYBOTLE] The first person to guess the sentence would get A point. In this example the correct answer would be “ Exit Lobby”.

Tuesday 11th: Meme Day! - THEME DAY

This day you where going to dress up as your favourite meme character, or just A random one. There are so many memes out there, just A simple search on google would get you A varies of choices to pick from. The winners from this theme say was:

Wednesday 12th: Fastest Typer - GAME

In this game you need to be quick on your fingers to get A point. The rules are simple! The host will be saying A sentence with random words that is tricky to write. Example: If Stu chews shoes, should Stu choose the shoes he chews? The person would need to write the exact sentence correct and also be the first to do so in order to get A point.

Thursday 13th: Geek Day! - THEME DAY

This day you where going to dress up as geeky and nerdy as you can. Get them glasses and suspenders on. Winners of todays theme day are (TBA).

The Kingdom’s Meetings:

The Leaders from the Kingdom’s Ministries are having A meeting every week with the Prime Minister (1iC). If the Ministry Leaders can’t attend A meeting, the Deputy Minister will be attending it instead. It’s important that at least one person attend this weekly meetings. On the meeting they talk about what has been done so far since last meeting, if the ministry is having any issues they need to handle. And what to do next to improve it even more and to help the Kingdom further.

At the Prime Minister’s Questions everyone is able to attend to ask the Prime Minister whatever you have on your mind. If you have anything you are wondering about what is happening in the Kingdom, or any issues regarding the new changes or anything this is the place to ask and hopefully get any answer back.

Sovereign Meeting is A meeting between the Prime Minister (1iC) and the Queen. At this meeting it is where the Prime Minister shows the Queen what has been said during the weekly meetings with the Ministry members since last meeting. It is also where they discuss anything regarding the Kingdom and any issues within the Ministries.

Other News:

- The Kingdom of Habbo are planning to have A room design competition! We are looking for creative designs for A Jousting Tournament Room! The Winning room will be replicated by our queen LaLaaLoopsy. All KoH members can enter this competition. So spread the word out!

NB! The room has to be medieval themed and large enough to play games and accommodate KoH and allies. Notify Phusion or LaLaaLoopsy if you are interested in joining. More details TBA.

- The Kingdom Chronicles have exciting opportunities for two talented individuals. We are on the lookout for a Graphic Designer and a Creative Author to join the team.

The person who fills the Graphic Designer position will have to have an impressive imagination and the ability to use photoshop or another high-quality image editing software. The Graphic Designer will be in charge of creating stunning, eye-catching banners for the articles we have on the blog. In the event that other graphics need to be designed (for example for the website), the Graphic Designers will be our first port of call.

The Creative Author will have a love of all things literary. We are looking for an imaginative individual who has the ability to write in a way that teases the minds of others. The person who fills this role will have a passion for writing, be that stories, poems or another form of creative writing. The role will require writing one short story/poem/rap each week based on a particular part of the Kingdom.

If you have any interest in these roles and you are Private+, please do apply on the team forum and if you have any questions please have A chat directly with Sianiebee or Nyra on kik, in base, or on the forum.

- The Ministry of Safety Operations 8iC, have one spot open. The Ministry of External Development 6iC, have three spot open.

The Ministry of Internal Development 5iC, have two spots open.

The Council of Lords 3iC, have two spots open. The Ministry of Defence, have 1 spot open.

If you are interested in joining A ministry please take contact with the Minister or Deputy Minister in that Ministry and ask if you are able to join. NB! Please be aware that by the time this has been published the spots may have been taken. If you have any question about what the Ministry is in charge of you can read about it on the KoH website under Education > The Kingdom’s Ministries.
