This week I interview people from around the world to find out more about their countries and cultures. Here is what people said!

Which country are you from?

Casey6551: SCOTTYLAND (Scotland)

Zokin11: The United States of America

Phusion: Canada

Sanspamster: I am from the tiny country of Singapore which is situated in South East Asia.

Are there any monuments or points of historical interest in your country?

Casey6551: The story of William Wallace is historical for us and the film Braveheart

Zokin11: think in almost every state there is – Mount Rushmore, Statue of Liberty, the White House etc.

Phusion: Canada is super big, but we have things like Parliament Hill. There's many monuments specific to each province or territory.

Sanspamster: Since Singapore is a country which was founded in February 6 , 1819 there are a number of historic monuments like : Hong San See temple which was founded in 1908 , St. George Church which was founded in 1910 and the Nagore Dargah which was founded in 1828

What is your country well known for?

Casey6551: Accents and bagpipes!

Zokin11: My country at the moment is well known for its stupidity with Donald trump

Phusion: Maple syrup and nice people.

Sanspamster: There are 5 main things Singapore is well known for : Cleanliness ( they take this pretty seriously , if you litter you will get a massive fine the next day) , The most famous - chewing gum ban. The food which is just amazing , Singapore airlines , and the casinos like marina bay sands.

What do you enjoy most about your country?

Casey6551: I enjoy the fact that Scotland attracts so many people from all around the world!

Zokin11: What I enjoy most about my country are the amusement parks, beaches, women, and the kindness of a lot of people that live here

Phusion: Multiculturalism and winter.

Sanspamster: Great people and great food!

Are there any big cultural difference to other parts of the world in your country?

Casey6551: In Scotland, men wear kilts to weddings rather than suits

Zokin11: We celebrate thanks-giving

Phusion: We are very similar to American culture.

Sanspamster: As far as I have seen there aren’t many major cultural differences between Singapore and and other countries. Singapore is a very multicultural country with different races e.g: Chinese , Indian and Malay

What food is typically eaten in your country?

Casey6551: Haggis (it's disgusting), shortbread, and potato scone (Every other country is missing out when they don't put that in their breakfast)

Zokin11: Foods from all around the world are typically eaten in USA

Phusion: Poutine

Sanspamster: Well the type of food mainly eaten in Singapore consists of rice , gravy and always fried chicken. You got to love that chicken

If you could live anywhere in the world other than your country, where would it be and why?

Casey6551: I would choose Spain because SUN, the language is so beautiful and the people there are so nice!

Zokin11: If I could live anywhere in the world except for USA, I would choose Netherlands, Amsterdam because it has one things that USA doesn't have ;)

Phusion: Probably in the UK because I would die to have that accent.

Sanspamster: Italy. It has to be Italy like damn I love that place . I go to visit my grandma there all the time . Venice in Italy is my most favourite city I have ever been too in the whole world.
