Welcome to The Kingdom Chronicles. This week I will be filling in for Sanjay, answering some questions that may be on the tip of your tongue. Feel free to get in touch if we haven't answered a question you're aching to have answered by our columnists.

1. Why are we not allowed to wear Emojis even though it’s not an effect?

There are some things that are outright banned in base. Emojis and effects are sadly some of these. Emojis cause a distraction from the goings on within base often proving to make their owners and those around them unwilling to work hard. They may not look like it, but they can cause the room to lag and computers to disconnect when too many are used at once and so it is best for the room and everyone in it if these are not available in the attire policy that can be found here.

2. Who is eligible to be given RR and how will we be able to contact them when needed?

Room rights are given to trusted iL individuals (normally on the higher end). With these rights they will be able to kick, ban and mute individuals in base. These can only be used in response to trolls or those proving to be of significant bother to members. If you need a person with RR please send out a kik message detailing exactly what is happening and someone will respond to your request ASAP.

3. When will the campaigning for iC ranks end?

iC applications are currently being accepted by Founders and debates are running for each of the openings. After this, there will be big campaigns in which the candidates will try to win your vote! Unfortunately it seems there will only be virtual cake available but I guess that's good for my waistline (online calories isn't a thing, right?). As of yet we are unsure as to how long it will be between now and the election but as soon as we are aware everyone will be notified in order to get as many votes cast as possible! Exciting times!

4. I’m only an LR so when I recruit someone and there’s no one there to train, what should I do? Is there someone I can contact and how will I contact them?

Luckily, this problem isn't as common as it once may have been. If there are only LRs online be sure to send out a BTB (back to base) via kik to get some HRs on. Tell them that there are only LRs online. Do not wait until there is someone waiting to be trained to get people online as we should have more people online in any case. If you are alone with a new recruit however, please let them know that you are sending for someone who can train them and they should wait patiently (hopefully). Send a BTB via the General Chats on kik and there should be someone coming to help really quickly.

5. I have a recurring problem where I disconnect every now and then so my online time resets. Because of this, I can’t reach the minimum of 60 minutes online time to promote. What should I do?

Oh gosh! I have this problem too! It's just so annoying! What you should do when you're planning to be online for the length of time needed to promote/gain a PP/any other reason is take not of the iLs in the room. Make yourself known to them when you first come online, let them know of your intentions and tell them about your disconnection problem. If worst comes to worst and you are disconnected, you are able to use them as a witness to say you have been online for the requested amount of time. If there is no iL in the room, send a BTB for the iLs on the General Chat on kik in order to get at least one online. Better safe than sorry!
