Smells Like Roses

Roses of Red and Black

Stop people right in their track

To smell the roses o’ so pretty

You can’t find these in the city

Roses of Red bring love and sweets

While Roses of Black bring hatred and doom

Don’t smell the roses of black

They will make you boom

With hatred of sinister gloom

Roses of red bring happiness and friendship. And finally, the Red roses drove out the Black roses. The war between hatred and love was over. Or was this just the beginning?

It had been exactly a year after the Red roses drove out the Black roses. However, the Black roses were drawing in. Not knowing of what the Red roses had in store for them, the Red roses were spreading love. When they really should have been preparing for war.

The Black roses arrived, and they attacked with anger. Yet the Red roses attacked with love. They say love conquers all, but this wasn’t one of those times. The Red roses suffered an unbearable defeat. The Black roses now ruled. Being wrathful was common crime. The world became dark. The Red roses needed a plan. But what?

The day that was commonly known as Love day was approaching. They needed a plan. Then, it dawned on them. They knew their battle strategy. It was genius, it was brilliant, it was right.

The Black roses knew that Love day was approaching. They knew that the Red roses were planning on war. So, they made plans to their strategies. They were ready. Or so they thought.

The Red roses attacked, but with a different strategy then the Black roses thought. The Red roses attacked with hatred. The black roses lost terribly. The kingdom now belonged to the Red roses. This shed a whole new light on love. Love is strong, love is smart, love is hard.
