Have you ever noticed the giant mountain peeking out behind the south tower? It is filled with gems, metals and treasures beyond our wildest dreams!
In a back alley in the Kingdom, our old blacksmith works away creating the finest tools and weapons for our fellow members. No one really saw his great gift and why his tools were so expensive. Christopher was the only one to know the true value of his product and its origins.
On a warm sunny day, the young baker from next door came to buy a knife. She picked from his large selection a simple knife with an emerald bead on its handle. It looked enchanted and priceless. She asked Christopher where this gem was from, he said it was to remain a mystery. So later that night she looked out of her window to see where this odd blacksmith got his resources. After the sun had long set, Jessica saw him slip out of his door and down the alleyway. In a moment of curiosity, she puts on her jacket and runs after him. She follows him out of the Kingdom gates, making sure to not be seen by Christopher. It was a climb up this steep mountain and it seemed to never end. After a short while, there was a flattening and she sees Christopher crawl into this small cave which would have been unnoticeable before. Jessica thought it would be a good idea to run home and come check it out tomorrow when he isn’t there.
Jessica waits the whole day getting continually more curious about what kind of things where hidden inside. The thought of endless possibilities seemed slightly troubling and what if she found something dangerous?
It was finally the right time for Jessica to go back to the cave. She ran there to arrive before Christopher and she squeezed to get through. Suddenly she was blinded by a bright light, as her eyes regained focus she could see endless amount of multi-colored gems and metals. The whole scene was quite overwhelming. There was one large ruby which captivated Jessica’s mind and that was all she wanted! She goes to grab the stone without thinking of the consequences and she then hears a large grunt from above her. A large lizard like demon scales the wall to face Jessica. Still clutching this large stone, the reptile goes to attack her. They both then heard a clink, like when metal hits something hard. She turns to see Christopher who then proceeds to kill the beast with a large bejeweled sword and rescued Jessica from the cave. When they both arrived back into the town, Christopher pulled Jessica into his workshop. He sat her down and said,
“I hope you realize how dangerous that was, I’m not going to lecture you but some people’s private business is private for a reason.” He said with a stern but understanding voice.
And with that he got up and left, leaving Jessica filled with questions.
