The iC Campaign
After you have applied for an iC rank and you have been accepted, you are ready for the next step. You then have to fill out an campaign form in order to continue. When your campaign form has been accepted you are ready to start campaigning for the iC rank you have chosen. It is important not to start until you have been accepted. For the campaign you will need a campaign team to help you out. This will consists of 3 people including yourself (does not need to be KoH members). Yourself - candidate. Campaign Manager and a Deputy Minister. The Manager is in charge of finding the best campaign strategies for you while you’re running. The Deputy Minister will be working as your running mate as the co-leader of your ministry. It’s important during the campaign that you understand your running issue. Why are you running? It is important to not lose track of your running issue(s) during your campaign and work towards convincing the members of the Kingdom that you are the person for this issue. You also need to make a message, badge and slogan message. The message should be clear to why you are running, why you believe you are the best for the office and why the Kingdom should trust you to hold the office for the time allotted. The badge is for supporters to join and share with others as a way to keep track of who is following your campaign and the amount of people supporting each candidate. Another way to get supporters and sell yourself to the people is by hosting rallies, events, games, mazes and questionnaires. Give inspiring and encouraging speeches to listeners in order to convince them that you are the best candidate. During the campaign there will at no time be allowed to give out prizes, as this would lead to disqualified with prejudice. You should also be prepared for debates and interviews depending on the office and number of running opponents, debates will be conducted for public audience. Debates will remain civil but your primary goal is to convince your audience that you are the superior candidate for the office position. Interviews - The Kingdom Chronicles members are allowed to interview a candidate at any time and may release accurate information presented in the interview to the members of the Kingdom. Preparing for your position or loss is the most important part of campaigning. In the event that you lose your campaign to your running opponent, you are allowed to rerun for the office as many times as you wish as long as your loss was without prejudice.
