After Midnight

The fog approached in a frightening manner.

Inch by inch it would devour the castle from sight.

The moon held high above the night sky.

Colors blazed around, in vicious colors and hues blue.

Then I wondered if the curse was true.

The Monster had to be near, but who could it be?

There we so many people you could barely see.

The Monster stood lurking from below.

But how would they know?

The creatures came out to play.

Everyone wished that they would stay.

They smiled with happiness and glee.

Unknowing of what could be.

The evil fog came out from under the bridge.

Making the air cool as a fridge.

The monster came out in a terrible gloom.

The sight made everyone freeze in the room.

The troll told stories that weren’t true.

Making everyone crazy like animals in a zoo.

I had to think fast on such little time.

The stories sent a shiver down my spine.

I acted fast, with no thought at all.

The Troll then started to crawl.

This was just perfect for my plan.

If he just came a little closer for my machine to scan.

He took that last step without any hesitation.

My trap sprang up from the front station.

The troll was gone but the night was young.

The evil was gone from the among.

True happiness was loud and clear.

Everyone shouted out a loud cheer.

With that the night was over.

The who castle felt bliss again.

While everyone went to sleep in perfect zen.
