8iC Debate Script

Intro:
Welcome to the Royal Kingdom of Habbo 8iC Election Debates! We have two teams debating today. 3 questions for each team to answer.
roadtrix108, approach the stand with his deputy Sanpamster.
Second team is only the deputy today. Her minister is out due to timezones but she will be representing the team, Deathsongg take the stand.
I don’t want to mute the room so everyone may still whisper each other, but please do be respectful of the debate and their speeches. We will try to be as swift as possible.

LaLaaLoopsy:
-Our first question will go to Deathsongg.
-As minister for safety Operations how do you plan to update and upgrade the security and safety operations of The Royal Kingdom of Habbo?
Deathsongg:
-I feel that a few things we could to help safety and security would be to always make sure that there is someone online with Eros just in case someone comes in and harasses members so they can feel safer at work.
LaLaaLoopsy:

-As minister for safety Operations how do you plan to update and upgrade the security and safety operations of The Royal Kingdom of Habbo?
roadtrix108:
-First I would like to ensure we have all of our wired up to date to ensure minimal spammers slip through the cracks.
-Overlapping Shannon’s points, I would like to give more trusted users room rights to be able to ban, kick and mute spammers who can cause a lot of havoc to our members as some of you will know.
-For example we have already had multiple user losing their valued accounts due to links they have clicked and then been hacked from. Thanks for listening.

-Thank you both for your input on our Safety Operations.
-Sanspamster, as deputy minister, how will you ensure that your minister’s laws are spread positively and passed?
Sanspamster:
-I will ensure my minister’s laws are spread positively and effectively by ensuring his laws are communicated clearly and efficiently via multiple forms of communications. E.G: kik, Skype and in our base.
LaLaaLoopsy:

-As minister for safety Operations how do you plan to update and upgrade the security and safety operations of The Royal Kingdom of Habbo?
Deathsongg:
-As Katey's Deputy I feel it is important to talk to as many people as can in base to know that they understand fully what these laws are and also how to properly follow them.
-Also, maybe send out a weekly update via forums or Kik to make sure everyone knows what is going on so they are prepared and ready - Thank you.

-What qualifies you to lead the ministry of safety operations and ensure all members within the ministry are trained and aware of their weekly obligations?
roadtrix108:
-have lead many teams in the past in a coding environment in which I have had to arrange everything in the team I have been an owner of a Minecraft server before in which I had to lead multiple teams and ensure everyone was doing their job correctly and effectively.
-I am also an administrator on a website with over 250 members on, my role is head of development and I must ensure all my staff are completing the relevant tasks.

-What qualifies you to lead the ministry of safety operations and ensure all members within the ministry are trained and aware of their weekly obligations?
Deathsongg:
-Katey has been with KoH for a while now and she loves this base. She cares about every person who comes in and wishes to join us and old members who are already part of the family.
-We feel that safety is the number one concern within the base and should be taken very seriously. A safe worker is a happy worker, and we want everyone to feel good coming here everyday. Thank you.

-Now onto the debate.
-Here each candidate, including the deputies are allowed to counter debate when a candidate is answering the next question. Be respectful of one another but make sure your points are clear and meaningful.
-As her minister is not here deputy, Deathsongg will start. roadtrix108 and sanspamster you may chime in where you see fit.
-Each have the chance to speak individually on the debate question for 5 minutes total.

-Deathsongg,
-Whats sets you apart from your opponent? What makes you more qualified for the position? Why? Begin.
Deathsongg:
-I feel that Katey is always here to work her hardest and to try to make sure she is doing everything she can for KoH to make sure it is always running smoothly I hate public speaking but she got me up here for her on her side. Thank you.
roadtrix108:
-Do you not feel like she has just forced you into doing this debate?
Deathsongg:
-Not at all. Her and i discussed our topics at length many days before. Because she wanted me to involved and also make sure if she was not able to attend that someone knew her and what she stands for, would be here.
roadtrix108:
-I have a dedicated team and as you can see all my team have turned up despite it being 2 am for Sanjay. I feel if she wanted to give this 100% she would be able to at least get 2 of her team members here.
Deathsongg:
-I feel your experience is making you egocentric and narcissistic and you are forgetting what safety is about even with only one person here whether she is here or not. It does not change how she feels or what she cares about.
Sanspamster:
-How can you say that to a guy who gets along with everyone in base? Tell me one person who Jay is rude to?
Deathsongg:
-I didn’t say rude.
Lalaaloopsy:
-Keep it civil, lol.

-I just don’t know what would happen if there was an important meeting and she couldn't attend. Is my point.
Sanpamster:
-Sorry about that.
LaLaaloopsy:
-roadtrix108, same questions. 5 min limit.
-What sets you apart from your opponent? What makes you more qualified for the position? Why?
-Debate!
roadtrix108:
-I have previous experience in managing teams, which i do not think my opponent has much of.
Deathsongg:
-What teams are you talking about and what exactly does that have to do with safety?
roadtrix108:
-The teams I mentioned earlier, such as Head of Development for a website with 250 people.
Deathsongg:
-I don’t really know if Minecraft has much to do with KoH
roadtrix108:
-I have to ensure those members information is secure.
-That their passwords aren’t hacked. This website [Habbo] is not Minecraft related.
Deathsongg:
-You listed it earlier
roadtrix108:
-I have to ensure that people can come to my website and feel safe. That was something else I listed. I listed multiple websites and games I am a leader of.
Deathsongg:
-What we want to know is how have you made people feel safe in base before you signed up for the Campaign.
roadtrix108:
-But that isn’t the question? And i could ask the same question
LaLaaloopsy:
-She’s debating
Deathsongg:
-You could, and I am always at a station willing and able to help when needed to the best of abilities and you?
roadtrix108:
-I am always on standby to help anyone who needs help. In fact, I helped Kateyy: by buying her badge for her as she couldn’t afford it.
Sanspamster:
-Jay helps people to the best of his abilities
roadtrix108:
-I also gave her the HC to get the badge.
Deathsongg:
-Buying a badge is not safety. That was kindness
roadtrix108:
-You said you were helpful
Deathsongg:
-But doesn’t change to topic at hand
roadtrix108:
-So i was showing that i am helpful too
Deathsongg:
-Yes, helpful in answering questions to make sure people understand what they need to do or helpful if someone is FTF and they are being harassed. Because safety is important
Sanspamster:
-We do help people who are getting harassed

-I understand safety is important but safety extends to more than Habbo
Sanspamster:
-We aren't that sort of people to stand by and see what happen
roadtrix108:
-And i do more safety in other areas
