Tick, Tock, Timezones
April 28th, 2017 [Friday]. Welcome to this weeks interviews. This week you are going to read the interviews from 3 of our members with their different time zones and how the time might
affect when they can go to the general meetings and do the different events.
Question 1: What is your time zone?
-Kaylalicious: EST, GMT - 4 Tenaya222: AEST, GMT + 10 KrissKrissu: EEST, GMT + 3 Deathsongg: MDT, GMT - 6
Question 2: Are you able to attend meetings and events? -Kaylalicious: Yes, most of them anyway Tenaya222: Sometimes i can but haven’t been to one in a while KrissKrissu: Yes i am. When i can. I’m usually attending the Saturday 8pm GMT usually. And events depends when it is and i don’t have anything booked at irl. Deathsongg: Yes
Question 3: Do you feel it’s difficult to attend the meetings with your time zone?
-Kaylalicious: Currently only for the 2nd general meeting, because here we are currently in daylight savings time, which means we moved forward an hour Tenaya222: For me yes, because now in year 11 i have to do homework now and i can only go to the one in my afternoon time. Most of the time i just go when i can. I don't take notice because now it’s rare for me to attend meetings now.
KrissKrissu: Not really. They are only three hours later and i’m usually online anyways that day. Deathsongg: No not at all. Especially with there being two different ones.
Question 4: What time would you prefer the meetings and events to be on?
-Kaylalicious: 8pm GMT like usual, and the other one at 3am GMT. But 8pm GMT generally usually is good no matter what. Tenaya222: Events i can make, and i’m not sure but a little earlier in the day
KrissKrissu: Oh well i’m not sure. Meeting is i guess the right time. Events could be earlier and sometimes later. I can’t really say exact times. Deathsongg: I go to the Sunday one cause it’s like 10pm for me, and the other is like 2 in the afternoon, so Saturdays great for me.
Question 5: Do you have anything else to add (to the time zone VS meetings and event)?
-Kaylalicious: Not at this time, no
Tenaya222: Not really no
KrissKrissu: Nah
Deathsongg: No i’m good
