Q. I have been thinking about joining teams, how do I find out which ones are right for me?
Ans. Asking “what team is right for me?” is one of the most important decisions you will ever make. Joining the right team gives you happiness. But when it’s the other way round, it just a pain. Do a little bit of background data collection from anyone possible before joining any team. You can read about them from the main websites. You will have a rough idea about how it is. And I’m pretty sure you might be around the Kingdom, to understand which team does what. So, just apply in the teams when you see any open spaces. The team from which you connect to the most is the one to apply for.
Q. What is the process of joining a team?
Ans. The process is pretty simple. First you will have to go to Team forums from the main website. Log in an account if not already done. Then find out the respective team you want to apply for. Open the thread and reply under Team Applications. Make sure you copy the template from the first post.
After submitting the applications, the Team Lead or Co-Lead reads the application. Based on your answers they decide to accept or reject the members. If the application is rejected the process stops there. If it is accepted, the Leads will reach out to you and brief you about the role. If you still feel like you will not be able to perform, you can back out still then. Based on your decision you can join the team or not.
Q. I applied for a team quite a while ago and have had no response. Why could this be and what should I do?
Ans. At times the Lead of the team want to give as many people a chance to apply. As a result the wait for few more applications after several announcements done. Due to this you might see that there is a slight delay in the process. In such case you must wait patiently, let’s say for a week at least. Team Leads will surely revert within that time. If you haven’t received any messages from them, you can take the initiative and approach them to know the status. That would pretty much solve the issue.
Q. The team I wanted to join has no spaces, what should I do?
Ans. You can still fill out the applications. When there will be space in the team, your application might be considered first. And you never know, you will be selected. Take the chance and fill if you really want to be part of that team. There’s no harm in applying.
Q. I have had a great idea and would love to start my own team based on this. Is this possible?
Ans. I am sorry, but that isn’t possible. Teams do not work that way. If you really trust your idea, then you can have a word with Andrewday11. He is the prince of the Kingdom and also is a team overseer. If he likes the idea of the team, he will surely take your idea further. As of now any individual cannot start a team whenever they wish.
