Pondering Pay

February 10th, 2017 (Friday) – Welcome to the edition of TKC report. The report this week will be about the new Pay Policies in the Kingdom of Habbo. It is known that the updated policies are to ensure that everyone who work at KoH can get a fair and reasonable pay. Of course, the pay mostly depend on the members’ hard work and dedication in the Kingdom. It is just changed recently with the addition of pay point objectives to ensure more secure and fair pay to the members.

Pay Policies Introduction:

The Kingdom of Habbo's Pay System is unique and exclusive to the Kingdom. This pay allows members to receive "unlimited daily" payment at the Kingdom. Members will earn and collect pay points that can be redeemed for pay or promotions. These points will be earned through accomplishing the requirements specific to each division. The requirements to get the pay are stated in the pay point objectives.

Pay Point Objectives:

Each division has its own requirements that need to be completed in order to receive a pay point. The objectives change WEEKLY.

The example of the pay point objectives for this week (February 7th-14th, 2017):

Take Note:

- This objective will be change weekly by our Founders so make sure you stay update on the changes.

- Usually it will be change on the Tuesday until the next Tuesday (based on observation).

- Navigate to ‘Policies’ tab, and go to ‘Policy Directory’ and lastly click on the ‘Pay Policies’ button to check the weekly objectives.

The pay policies also consist of the way on how to redeem your pay point and the regulations of pay. Below is the regulation needed in order to redeem the point to pay or promotion.

Redeeming Pay Points:

Regulations of Pay:

  • Only 3iL+ members can distribute pay points. iL members cannot receive pay points.

  • It is the iL member's responsibility to ensure that the requirement is fully satisfied before the issuing of a pay point. The pay point must be distributed in the same day of the completion of an objective.

  • Each requirement must be achieved in the same day (GMT). Promotions and training from previous days do not count towards the completion of a requirement.

  • Pay points have an expiration date of one month. Pay logs are cleared at the beginning of each month.

  • There is a maximum of +1 point per log post.

  • Points can be deducted alongside the Disciplinary System.

  • Total amount of points can go into the negatives. If they earn a pay point, their total simply goes up by one. (Example: -3 to -2)

  • No favoritism is allowed to friends and members, pay points are to be earned.

  • Only 3iL+ members are allowed to post as a reply to the member's Pay Log on forums.

  • There is to be no cheating or lying regarding the earning of pay points. If any misconduct is found within the Pay Logs, an immediate demotion/fire will be issued and further consequences will be distributed.

  • All pay points must be earned fairly. If any suspicion of bribery is found, pay points will be revoked and punishment will be distributed.

According to my observation, the amount of pay that the members received both are increased and decreased each week. It is increased when there’s a member who work harder than any other member. The recognition from the Founders or High Rank members itself gave the worker an opportunity to gain more pay points regardless of the pay objectives. Not to mention that the pay received by the members can also be decreased if the iLs are not active enough to be around the base when needed or even the members do not work hard enough to gain it. It is all on our perception on how to measure it.

As of whether it is good or bad, we can conclude that the amount of pay received by the members are depending on themselves. For my opinion, it was easy to gain the pay point daily based on the pay point objectives that we have. This way, we can learn to follow rules. This is a training for us all in real life. If watch closely, the objective are piece of cake if we have determination to grab it. As I mention earlier, it is all on ourselves on how to see it and the effort we put to get it.

Overall, the updated pay policies are for our own good. Let’s decided to stay positive on this. The members are the key for the Kingdom success. Without them, there will no KoH and no KoH mean no pay, unless you work at another agency, that’s a different story. Who knows maybe there will be more change on the pay policies as KoH is always improve each day.
