This is the story of the Kingdom of Habbo's two most fearless members. It was a night so dark even the bats were afraid. Rosie and Cam were working the late shift, and, as always, were sat together at FTF. They'd been working hard together all day, and by the time our story occurred, they were exhausted.
"I told you I'd get to trades division first!" Rosie said with a smile, reflecting on the day's events. Cam's reply was to simply raise his eyebrow, peering at his own peasant badge. Though he would never admit it, he was a little jealous of Rosie's new rank. The badge was shiny and new, and allowed Rosie access into the security area, which Cam couldn't wait to fill.
As the last iL logged off for the night, Cam and Rosie were left alone. Thankfully, the kingdom usually wound down at this time; not many people came in, and it gave Rosie and Cam time to chat.
Little did they know that tonight would change the shape of their KoH lives forever!
Staring at the big oak doors in which people entered through, the pair patiently waited for a customer to enter. Talking quietly to each other, their peace was only interrupted by a noise so eerie it ricocheted between their ears. The oak door sounded like it was being scratched by some creature's claws... In pain, the pair gritted their teeth.
"What's making that noise!?" Cam asked. Rosie shook her head, covering her ears from the blood curdling sound.
"You should go look." She finally said, her eyes wide with fear.
Cam grimaced in response. "Or you could..."
"Together?" Rosie spoke, no confidence in her voice. She only needed one nod from her companion and they joined forces to heave open the huge oak door...
"AAAHHH!" A scream from both of them and a bellowing noise from the creature filled the air, followed by Rosie and Cam scattering in all directions.
Standing in front of them was none other than a massive, moss green troll! With mould growing from its back and a face only a mother could love, it truly was a sight to behold.
In ran the troll, much to Rosie and Cam's protests. Stumbling forward, it's feet the size of tanks, the troll thudded towards The fill the front gates where Rosie and Cam lay in fear.
Onto the rollers it came, it's skin like stone compared to the shiny tables it was breaking in its path. With a mighty roar, it spoke in a clunky voice, "me want job!" Rosie and Cam fearfully ducked under the desk to avoid it's swinging fists.
It was Cam who decided to puff his chest and brave the troll. Standing up (though rather shakily), he nodded a little. "You... you want a job? O-okay.. let me help... you need to change your badge, your uniform, and then your motto to [KoH] Traveler please!"
At this point, Rosie stood up to join her friend for moral support, although she instantly regretted it with the outburst they got!!
"No! Me want to wear own clothes!"
Rosie looked apologetic. "It's not forever... sir? Only till you get promoted, and you look to me like a hard worker. You'll be there in no time !"
"Well okay then... But I get angry if I get no promotion!"
Sending the troll through to security, Rosie dealt with him whilst Cam called for someone to come and train.
However, in security, things took a turn for the worst. The troll, who was clearly out to ruin their night, began to do something that they didn't expect.
He began dancing!
"Hey, troll, stop that! We don't allow that here!" Rosie said urgently, her eyes darting round the room for a RR.
"NO! TROLL FEEL THE DISCO!"
With his head in his hands, Cam attempted to call for a RR. However, nobody was available! Both the pair were at their wits end!
And just when they thought it couldn't get any worse, the troll started using coloured talk! The blue seeped through the screen and Rosie began to freak out. Letting out a scream, she stunned everybody into silence... even the troll!
It was short lived however, as quickly, the troll's antics continued. Coloured chat everywhere and he was still dancing...
Could the day get any worst?
Suddenly, the troll said two things that were both hilarious and thankful.
"RAGE QUIT!!!!!!"
Almost falling over from exhaustion, Rosie and Cam stumbled to FTB, tired after the escapades with the troll. One thing was for sure, they'd never work the night shift again!
