Hello and welcome to another week of TKC, this week with some of the happenings I, Paige, got a chance to conduct a couple interviews. If you can recall we are doing 3 weeks of team updates, and last week Jake interviewed events team, library team and transfer unit. This week I bring updates from 3 more of our amazing teams: The Kingdom Chronicles, Recruitment Team, and Department of Justice. I took a few minutes to sit down and message with SianieBee who is a 3iL and the leader and editor of TKC, Safia149 who is also a 3iL and the leader of recruitment team, as well as .:.Apollo.:. Who is a 2iL and lead of our newest team which is DoJ.
My first question for these three had 3 parts asking "Which team do you lead and who is on your team and what role do they each have?"
SianieBee who from now on will be referred to as Sian said: I lead TKC, our kingdom's newspaper team. There are currently 12 people that help to make TKC what it is. I (SianieBee) am the leader with Paige (oreo270) as my co-lead. Our two Reporters are Rei (Reilln95) and Heath (Heathlove). Our Interviewers are Jake (Kingdevil0987) and Gigi (loveofthee3). Our Graphic Designers are Jade (levag) and Ryan (.:.Apollo.:.). Our Creative Authors are Abby (WildDragonKiwi) and Safia (safia149). Finally, we have our Columnists Samara (samara5955) and Phoebe (Nyra.).
Safia149 who will be referred to as Safia said: Hello! I'm safia149 and I lead the great Recruitment Team :) our team composes of 10 recruiters and I'm proud to present our members:
Samara5955, lCarla, Nyra., VicResan, Thea, Reilln95, SamJ_5677, anya1, Domoooooo, and rockerlimmyx2
They are all recruiters doing their best to help our Kingdom grow :)
.:.Apollo.:. Who will be referred to as Ryan said: I lead DoJ and there are a lot of roles that help out! And the members and positions are Jake and Sian are royal judges, Safia and Anya are royal clerk, Extrinct is an investigator, and samara is prosecutor with the rest of the spots being open, one investigator and one defendant, so contact him or Kirst (his co-lead) if you wish to join after reading about the team :)
Then next question I asked these three was "How does your team help and impact KoH?"
Sian: I believe TKC has a great impact on Kingdom of Habbo. We work hard as a team each week to bring our readers fun and informative information about what is happening in the kingdom. We report on the latest happenings to make sure everyone is in the loop. We also support our team members in developing their skills, as many of them already have a passion for writing. In essence, we give the members of KoH (along with some dedicated non-members like Andrew/Fusionator) an enjoyable blog to read with interesting new perspectives each week.
Safia: Our team is a very important aspect on the development of KoH, by bringing in new people in our base to join our kingdom and inspiring the other habbo people from the outside of KoH to join us here on our royal journey, we are improving the growth of KoH which is very important for the development of our Kingdom.
Ryan: Our team allows members to have a voice and fair trial in order to maintain justice and peace within the kingdom.
The third question asked of these 3 was "What are the responsibilities that you have to take on as lead? What does your co help you with?"
Sian: As lead of TKC, each week is busy. I am the one that updates the blog each week - editing and scheduling each task before it is set to go live each Saturday. I proof-read the submitted tasks and make sure they make sense and are grammatically correct before uploading them with picture in the right place. As user-friendly as wix is, this took me a long time to completely grasp! Other than dealing with the blog, I plan meetings, make sure everyone knows what they are doing and enroll new members if someone leaves. I am always available for my team if they need advice - be this on a TKC task or with anything else. Paige (my co-lead) is a vital part of the team coming up with new and interesting tasks each week! On top of that, she is the person I go to about anything I'd like to do with the team, running every idea past her gives me a new perspective and makes me able to iron out possible problems before enforcing it. We also work on the puzzle pages together.
Safia: As the team leader of this team I have a lot of responsibilities to maintain the daily activity of our team such as: making sure that all of the members are doing their part on the recruitment team, I have to ensure that communication within the team is stable and running well, I have to set up a team meeting which is going to be done soon, maintain the team documents, checking the scouting logs of the members to make sure it filled before the report due date, and a lot more :) without my co lead I cannot do all of this, she is my backbone in leading this team, and she guides me and gives me advice in every decision that I make for our team :)
Ryan: Me and my co leader both organize mock trials and general issues in KoH are looked into by us through our investigators, we also have to make sure all positions are filled as they are all crucial to the team.
The fourth question I asked these guys was "For each role on your team what responsibilities do those members have?"
Sian: All of the roles in TKC are pretty self-explanatory but I will go over them briefly. Reporters write professional articles about an aspect of KoH and its workings. Much like a news story in a newspaper. Interviewers do exactly that, they interview people in search of opinions of something. This can be about a recent event, an experience at KoH or pretty much anything! Graphic Designers make the banners for the TKC articles. Sometimes they are to do extra tasks too, for example creating posters, comics etc. Creative Authors are given a topic to write something about. This could be in the form of anything from a poem, a song, a rap, a story, anything that their imagination can fathom. Columnists are given a specific task each week. While one Columnist will do a Q&A based on what's been happening recently or what members of KoH would like answered, the other will be doing an Opinion Blog. The Opinion Blog is much like a column in a newspaper where the author writes about their feelings about a certain subject.
Safia: Our team has only one role and that is being a recruiter, it is the responsibility of the recruiter to bring in people from the outside of KoH to our base and assist them to join us here :) it is also our responsibility to spread the news about KoH and advertise it to other people making sure that they know about us :)
Ryan: We have Judges who control the courtroom and the flow of the trial. We have Prosecutors and defendants who act as "Lawyers", we have royal Clerks which record meetings and clarify statements, royal investigators who bring us new cases.
And my final question for them was "What would you say is the best part of being lead of your team or the team in general?"
Sian: It's really hard to choose just one thing that is best about being the lead of TKC. I love the fact I am working with others to create something that will probably still be here when I eventually go. That people will be able to look back to 2016/17 and see the work that MY team did. I love my team members, each of them make me so happy to be in TKC. Their attitude towards each of their tasks, the enthusiasm and effort they put in each week makes me so proud to be here.
Safia: The best part of in being the team lead of this wonderful team is that I am able to connect more to my members and get to know them better. We accomplish things as a team, experience problems as a team and we are all in this together :)
Ryan: The best part is seeing how well our members handle the responsibilities and how much they care about keeping KoH peaceful.
I would like to take this time to thank all three of my interviewees for taking the time to sit down and think about their team with the information that they have given us. I hope this helps all of you out there understand a little bit more about each team, I know it helped me :) and to the Reader thank you for taking the time to read this :)
~Paige (oreo270)
