Hey there reader, thank you for taking the time to read this article :) Recently Sian and I, Paige, decided that we wanted to add a puzzle section to TKC, much like newspapers and their puzzles. So far we have had 3 different puzzles, the first was a crossword, the second was matching a banner to a quote from the article and this last week was taking a small picture of each article and you, the reader, had to match them to their article. Sian and I are loving having the puzzles and coming up with new ideas to help draw people into reading so thanks :) I contacted 4 of KoH members who have taken time to do one or more of the puzzles, I talked to Dazlevolt who is currently a Castle Worker, loveofthee3 who just got promoted to 5iL but was previously a Shapeshifter, Misspanda610 who is a Trades Worker, and Domooooooo who also just got promoted to 5iL but was a Kingdom Master before.
My first questions was "How many of the puzzles have you done? Which ones did you do and which was your favorite?"
Dazlevolt who will now be referred to as Daz:Since I've only recently joined, I've only done two of the puzzles. The mix and match banner and this week's. My favourite.. ah, I don't know which one is, huhu.
Loveofthee3 who is also known as Gigi: I have done all of them which is 2-3.
Misspanda610 whose name is Lora and will be referred to by that: I have completed 2 puzzles, my favourite one I did was matching the picture title to the article.
Domooooooo will be referred to as Gi: I've only done one: Match the Quote to the Banner, I believe is the name? :)
My second question was "What has motivated you to do the puzzle?"
Daz: I've read the updates, then when I saw the puzzle page I thought it'd be a good idea to let the publishing team know that I appreciate the work they did. So I did the puzzle. Pleasantly surprised to find out later you get pay points for doing the puzzle.
Gigi: I'm motivated because I love doing the puzzles.
Lora: I guess the pay points but they are good fun to complete!
Gi: Well, it was all pretty new to me and when I heard about blogs and puzzles, I thought I should take a look and give it a try with the puzzle!
Then I asked these four "What type of puzzles would you like to see in the future?"
Daz: Crossword? Word search?
Gigi: I'd like to see puzzles like unscrambles.
Lora: I really like the current puzzles because it helps you learn about Kingdom of Habbo through a fun quiz!
Gi: Well, I'm not so sure at the moment, as I don't know a lot about puzzles :p
The fourth question for these guys was "Has the puzzles encouraged you to read the blog more? Do you like that each week they tie into the new postings?"
Daz: Well they certainly encouraged me to read very carefully, hahaha. And yes I do. It's a good two-way strategy that rewards both the writers and the readers.
Gigi: These puzzles have encouraged me to read more intently into each post of the blog. I LOVE that they tie into everyone's new post.
Lora: Yes I think the puzzle has encouraged me to read the blog because you need to find out the answer. However I then discovered the articles and I read them when they are released!
Gi: Yes, it has actually. I read a few of the posts after doing the puzzle :) and yes I think that's a great idea.
And my last question for them was "What is your favorite part of the blog and why?"
Daz: Ehhh, it's either Ask TKC or Happening This Week. But the, eh, the history-like blog about KoH is also interesting.
Gigi: My favorite part of the blog are the posts because I love how I can see everyone's creativity through their work
Lora: I think the postings are the best part because they keep me up to date with the KoH life :)
Gi: I like reading what other members think about the kingdom and what they are like as a person, etc. It's just nice to get to know others :3
I would love to thank the 4 of you for taking the time to answer my questions and give feedback on the puzzles, Sian and I will defiantly remember what you guys like when writing future puzzles :) Sian and I have been really happy with how the puzzles have turned out and love that more of you are getting involved through it. Thanks for reading and I hope you have a wonderful day!
