Importance of Teams

Here at the Kingdom of Habbo, nothing is more important to keeping everything running smoothly than the fabulous teams working tirelessly behind the scenes. They deliver top quality content and keep the whole kingdom running like clockwork. What they manage to do is truly magical, and this week, I'd like to discuss the teams with you!

So firstly, let's start with a simple question: what are the teams? Currently at KoH, we have a grand total of nine teams! These teams are so varied, it is so difficult to choose which ones you'd like to be part of. I personally am a member of IA (Internal Affairs) and TKC (The Kingdom Chronicles), but more on my thoughts on those teams later. Teams are compromised from members of the KoH, and whilst some require invites/certain ranks, there are those which you can apply for at whatever rank when they are looking for new members! The teams are usually run by iLs or founders. If you ever consider joining a team, you should check the page on the website, and then speak to the appropriate person!

Another question asked is 'why should I join a team?', and to put it simply, there are so many reasons why you should. Not only do you meet lots of new members and get to work next to them in producing or regulating cool stuff, you also get to help KoH run smoothly. For example, how could we function without the Online Services Team? We'd be at a complete loss, for sure! Every single team provides something unique, and no matter how small the team is, they all make a big effort!

Each team at KoH is tailored to a different aspect of KoH life. It's important to have every team working to the best of their ability because they contribute to a much bigger picture. I will go into the roles of each of the teams for you, however, if you want the best summaries of them, you should check out our website for more information! Firstly, Internal Affairs (IA), also known as the Kingdom's Ministry, is one of the most important teams at the kingdom. They are essential to keeping everybody up to date with important announcements. With their distinctive grey chat, you cannot miss them stating upcoming events or theme days. It's a very people-based job, so you need to be good at talking to others to be part of this group! Another team is External Affairs (EA), also known as the Kingdom's Ambassadors. These members have the important role of keeping alliance relations at their very best. To be a good member of EA, it is important to be good at creating and keeping bonds with other people. Both IA and EA are super important to the workings of KoH, and are an honour to be part of. They are invite only, however, so keep working hard to get noticed!

The Transfer Unit is another important team at KoH. There is nothing more important to the kingdom than growth as a community, and they allow us to do just that! With a super advanced formula, these guys must all be so clever to do their jobs! To be part of this team, you need to be Ranger+. The Events Team is a super fun team where everyone is bright and bubbly. To be part of this team, you need to be Warlord+, but also have a positive energy about you. Planning events is super fun and this team is there to reflect it. The Kingdom Chronicles, better known as TKC, is a wonderful team full of amazingly creative people. Every week they meet their deadlines in order to bring out new content for their fantastic blog, and it is honestly worth the read! To be part of this team you need to be creative and have a big imagination.

The Kingdom's Advertisement Unit, or the Recruitment Team, is an essential role in the kingdom. This team is all about encouragement! They can often be found in other rooms, convincing people to come join KoH. Without them, we would not see the sort of growth we do today! It is important that if you are in this role, you should have the courage to talk to people, and you must be convincing! Warlord+ can apply for this. The Library Unit is another important team at KoH. They keep a running record of active members, something I'm sure must be difficult to keep up to date with! Overall, these guys are like ninjas in the background. To apply you need to be Warlord+. Another team keeping everything neat and tidy in the kingdom is the Online Services Team. These lovely people have the task of keeping the ever growing forums in tip top shape, and what a job that must be. Any rank can apply to this, but you need to be active and willing to get your hands dirty to do this role!

Finally, we have the DoJ, or the Queen's Court. The Department of Justice makes sure everyone is following the rules, and helps KoH stick to it's no bullying policy. If someone is fired or demoted, and then questions this demotion, they are allowed to enter the courts and thus the DoJ will do their best to bring justice. Without these guys, members may not have a voice in many things. You can apply if you are Warlord+, however you need to be dedicated to be in this role!

As is previously mentioned, I decided to join TKC and IA! Both have been an absolute pleasure to work with. TKC is the Kingdom's blog, and even before I joined, I was in love with it. The writers are all so talented; some sum up the goings on of the kingdom, others write vivid, incredible stories, and all the articles have amazing graphics! Since I joined, I've been met with nothing but the kindness of the group, too. All in all, TKC has made me feel very welcome. IA is also an honour to be part of, for me personally. Not only are they the warmest, friendliest bunch of people ever, they are so good at their jobs! I was shocked at their efficiency when I first joined!

All in all, the teams are an absolute pleasure to have around. Without them, we would definitely not be the KoH we all know and love.
