Ask TKC #11: What Are These?
1. What is the black furni in base?
The black furni in base are observation seats. One of the many roles of an iL member of the
Kingdom of Habbo is to conduct observations on the other members – make sure they are
doing their job and everything is going smoothly. iL members are given these seats in which
to do this as it is close enough so they can see all that is going on and yet does not take up
any of the actual chairs for working at the stations.
2. Who can sit in it?
As I mentioned previously ONLY iL members are permitted to use these seats. If everyone
else were using these seats then the iLs would have nowhere to do their jobs. This would be
like filling the front by sitting in the seat in training. Useless to everyone. :3
3. What about the area to the upper right?
The upper right of the base is occupied by the VIP area. This is the area you may have seen
our Queen Bri snoozing in. This area was made for Royal Officials and guests that have
purchased the Honoured Guest badge. This room may also be accessed by members of
affiliated agencies of KoH once they have reached a certain division/become members of
the External Affairs team within their agency.
4. What is the area to the top left?
The area in the top left of our base is the Transfer Desk. Members of other agencies who are
considered a High Rank come to this station to get transferred from their current agency to
KoH. The Rangers+ help these individuals with use of our specially made Formula to make
sure their current rank is as closely matched as possible.
5. Why can't you sit in the furni at the bottom of the steps?
You may have noticed the chairs etc at the bottom of the stairs is impossible to sit on. If you
haven’t give it a go - without RR there’s no way of sitting on them! This is because of the
way the room is laid out. If you look closely you can see that the level above these areas is
hanging over slightly. You cannot walk UNDER furni and so you cannot sit on those chairs.
Clever - huh?
6. Why can’t you talk in the chairs at the top of base?
The chairs that you sit on directly after entering the kingdom (or the spaces in which they are
placed) are muted. This means you are unable to speak in these spots. This is for a number
of reasons but the most important one would be that it prevents some of the trolling that
happens in Habbo. Some of the trolls jump from room to room and blurt out their nonsense
at soon as they appear in that room. Having these spots muted will either make them hop
onto their next victims or make give them enough time (the time it takes to move out of those
seats) to contemplate what they are going to say and hopefully their life choices in general
and make them not want to troll. That’s the thinking behind it anyway :’)
