A Transition in Pay

October 16th 2016 (Sunday) - This week, I will be reporting about the whole pay system, how it was before and how it developed into being how it is now! Let me start of with explaining how everything was before. Everyone had the choice to request a badge, known as the Pay Badge, which was right next to FTB. Members were required to do a great amount of work, typically having to be seen to do 2+ hours of work by an admin, to have this badge accepted. Some examples of the work that you were expected to do are as follows:

Filling stations when required,such as FTS, FTT, FTWS etc.
Welcoming new recruits
Answering questions whenever they are asked.
And of course, many more.

Once you have acquired the badge, you would wait until the General Meeting, which takes place on Saturday @ 8PM GMT and Sunday @ 4AM GMT, to collect your pay. You may only collect it on one day with the badge, and once you have, the badge would be removed, and the process would happen all over again. This process was pretty simple, however, not everyone was able to attend during those hours, therefore there were some complaints. Moving on, I will be now explaining the new pay system. It has changed and developed quite a lot, and it is much more effective and helpful. It is very unique system that has been added. We call it “ Unlimited Daily Pay” since it allows members to collect as much pay as they wish, depending on their pay points, which will be redeemed for either coins or promotions. To get these points, you MUST have a forums account and a pay log. There is a clear guide to how to make one of these on the main website under Education - How to: Pay Log Creation. iLs are the only ones who may distribute these points. They will comment on your log following the template, either deducting or adding points on. Now you may wonder how you earn these points. It is as simple as the old pay system. You must do things such as welcoming members, participating in theme days & games, training new recruits, filling stations when required. Overall, showing a lot of dedication towards your work. Along with this, you may get points deducted for things like warnings & demotions. Now,how do you redeem these points? Very simple. You go to the Help Desk,and ask for a 2+iL if available, since they are the ones who are able to redeem points. You will be given a choice of: 1 point =1 coin, or 3 points = 1 promotion. For example,if you have 5 points, you are able to either receive 5 credits, or a promotion and 2 credits. This whole idea of the having new pay system is amazing. It will get more hard working members gaining more pay that they deserve, and it will also help members work as hard as they can.
