A Unique Kingdom

Anyone who has ever stepped foot into Kingdom of Habbo can tell it is unique and unlike other agencies on Habbo. We, at KoH, have more of a distinguishable theme than other agencies. Our decor in base, our ranks and our uniform suggest an air of a fantasy world in another point in time. What other agency do you know of that have ‘Servant of the Queen’, ‘Apothecary’ and ‘Weredragon’ among many other fantastical ranks within their list? From an outside perspective, KoH can be seen to be different in the way the room is decorated. We have stone walls, statues, scrolls and even dragons! We are truly a unique agency when seen against the likes of seemingly hundreds of police and army agencies, ‘yawn’. KoH is unique in the way we train and register new members. The previous online training system (that I am told will be coming back) was something I hadn’t previously seen in other agencies. The online aspect of it made sure that the trainees knew exactly what they had to do and gave them a reference to go back to (the slideshow) if they had forgotten anything from their training later without having to ask anybody – I know I did this in the early days so I’m assuming I’m not the only one? It also took the pressure off of the trainer having to go back and forth from the script to train, meaning that the trainer could also train if they were on mobile, in most cases, too! The ID system is revolutionary. The fact that typing in someone’s personal ID number into the forum brings up everything that has ever been posted regarding that person is a fantastic way to make sure nothing, be it training or promotions, gets overlooked or confused. I have also never seen this method used in any other agency.

Why should someone join KoH instead of another agency? Let’s be honest, a great training or ID system is not going to be the thing that makes a person want to join KoH and if that is the only thing that an agency has going for it, it sure isn’t going to make that person stay. So why do should someone join KoH? I have an answer; the people. Each and every person I have met here in KoH has treated me with nothing but kindness. There is no snobby-ness or anyone stuck up their own bottoms that they are higher in rank than anyone else – which is more than I can say for some of the agencies I have been to! The higher ranks genuinely want to promote you, they want you to feel good about the work that you have done and continue to do and, most of the time, go out of their way to make you feel appreciated. Receiving that kind of encouragement each day made me want to stay for the long haul, I’m sure it made you want to stay, too!

When we look deeper than what someone can see as soon as they walk through the door, we know that KoH is more of a family than an agency. Each of us genuinely care about the others, we give encouragement when times are tough and are joyful when good things happen. Instead of an endless wave of welcome messages overwhelming prospective members in base, most of the time there are many conversations going. Getting to know each other is a big part of our lives in KoH. In the end Habbo is a game and if the place we choose to spend most of our time on here isn’t fun and you are not given the opportunity for a laugh and a joke around every now and again, what is the point?

I will leave you with a short word from our wonderful Queen Bri, taken from a topic on the forum. “There are so many agencies, so many games out there that revolve around intense drama and I have to say, I feel very lucky to have such a wonderful group of people like yourself filling my agency with happiness and love.”

In the end, this is what we are here for; a family away from our own. I, for one, feel lucky to be a part of this agency and of the lives of each and every member here. That is what makes The Kingdom of Habbo unique.
