Keeping Peace

“Linnnneeeee up!”, yelled every leader of each team. Each worker scattered to get to their required spots. 4 of the highest ranks of the agency had recently gotten into a fight, causing them to make teams and go into a war. There were 4 teams: the Rebels, the Warriors, the Vikings, and the Best.

Each leader divided all the workers into teams and picked them for their team. All 4 teams were lined up. 2 on one side, 2 on the other. All of them looked quite confused as to what was going on. The leaders narrowed their eyes while looking at each other.

There had been many recruits that day. They were all VERY confused as to what they were being brought into. They thought that this is what this agency was. War. Most were already regretting their decision to join. “Why are we here?”, asked one of the newest recruits. She was 1 of many wanting to leave.

“We are here to settle things”, said the leader of the team she ended on, the Warriors.

“But why can’t we settle things with peace? This won’t help anything”

The leader gnarled at her. “Shut up and do your job.”

The owner of the agency was on vacation. Luckily, he was contacted by Grace.

As the teams were getting ready to face off, the owner walked in.

“What is going on here?”, the owner said, seeming very disappointed and mad.

The team leaders were dumbfounded. They had no clue what to say.

“I am very disappointed in you all, that's why you all are FIRED!”

They all looked around, not knowing what to do. They went to their desk, picked up their things, and left.

The moral of this story is to show you how not keeping peace can affect you and other people. This may cause people wanting to leave, or as the story shows, something as small as a warning, or something as big as using your job. Peace is one of the biggest requirements of an agency. You don't want to ruin it.
