Hello and welcome to another issue of The Kingdom’s Chronicles! This week, we have decided to make our main discussion point The Transfer Unit. The Transfer Unit Leader is Quarterchub. The team is active once more and recently got two new co-leaders, Diddles26346 & Maheenk. The team is undergoing many changes and is now back and better, with everything settled and new management!

Let’s take a look at what our members think and know about TU!

Maheenk: How do you offer people a rank?

Charcuterie: I look up their rank on their agency’s website, and use the transfer formula to get the rank and division I should offer.

WildTimes: We use the transfer formula which will help best determine a rank in relation to what they currently have.

Midgars: Well, I would ask for the agency website. I would then check for their division, plug it into the formula and let them know of the outcome.

Maheenk: How often do people not meet the requirements? Do people who don’t meet the transfer requirements usually come back when they meet the requirements?

Charcuterie: 4/5 times they don’t meet the requirements, and they usually don’t come back, they just transfer somewhere else.

WildTimes: If people don’t meet our requirements, they only come back if they are really committed to transferring here.

Midgars: From my experience, a lot of people don’t qualify. Out of 10 people, 2-3 actually qualify. The rest have usually recently joined their security badges. The ones that don’t qualify don’t usually come back, but some who really love KoH do.

Maheenk: How often do they accept the rank offer you give them? Do you feel you have given them a fair or unfair rank if they don’t accept?

Charcuterie: 3/5 times they accept the rank if they are eligible to transfer here. I think it’s fair, after all we are following the transfer formula. Sometimes, they don’t accept because they want an iL rank, but I think it would be really bad if we could transfer into iLs.

WildTimes: Usually they accept, I always feel it’s fair even if they don’t accept because it’s our rules and they should be willing to follow them.

Midgars: The people which qualify to transfer often accept the rank offered. This is probably because they are attemting to transfer away from their previous agency for personal reasons. I also believe that the offer are usually more than fair :)

Maheenk: How does the transfer process work once they accept a rank, and is there anything you would change to make it more efficient?

Charcuterie: Once they accept the rank offered, the transfer will be logged and the transferee will request the necessary badges. Hm, as for improvements… I can’t think of any.

WildTimes: They get the rank motto, I log it and make them request the badges they need. I would make it so there is more BAs so the badges will be accepted fast, and more willing race trainers.

Midgars: The transferring process isn’t the best, it could be seen as inaccurate. This is probably because people who transfer get to pick their race, which is unfair to others who get their race rolled by a dice. I would probably change that, and make them have to roll for their race as well.

Maheenk: How do we make transfers feel welcome to KoH?

Charcuterie: Maybe we can give a shout out to the new transferees every week, or welcome them at the podium.

WildTimes: We can make conversation with the new transfers and make them happy to be here!

Midgars: We could probably make transfers feel more welcomed through letting them know about the key events of KoH going on at the time, so they can get more involved. Hence, being more welcomed.

Maheenk: What is your favorite part about being able to transfer people to KoH?

Charcutierie: My favorite part is that we can grow our KoH Family with all these new faces!

WildTimes: We get to fill another station and help out growing KoH!

Midgars: My favorite part, in fact, there is a lot of good parts. One of the best ones is probably that I get to meet and greet new members joining us! It really gives me the chance to meet them really well, as I will be spending a lot of time with them.

Maheenk: Overall, how do you think the transfer unit is doing?

Charcuterie: I think they are doing great, applications are being attended to and formulas are now frequently updated.

WildTimes: I think they’re doing great!

Midgars: I feel as if TU is doing fine, we’re pretty unique compared to other agencies so it makes us stand out pretty well.

The feedback given from these three will help us improve our transfer unit and make it an easier experience for the rest of KoH to come!
