The Life of an iL

Hello everyone and welcome to another yet again, issue of The Kingdom Chronicles! On 5/31/16, liale06 yet again hosted another theme day called ?? Flags ?? Show off your country's pride during that theme day! ?? Hope you participated to earn race points for your team!

Besides the event, I have been yet again, asked to interview 3 iL members about their experience as part of the highest ranks in KoH. Our first interviewee is -Kaylalicious Aka Kayla [K] who is currently a 1iL.

[A]: What does a day in the life of an iL look like?

[K]: Its actually pretty rewarding. You get to make sure that everybody is getting along and create a peaceful environment for other members. Also, having the ability to make change happen is pretty exciting, and watching your ideas being used.

[A]: Do you enjoy being able to use the iL chair and the help desk?

[K]: yes, because I enjoy helping people and seeing them walk away happy that their question has been answered, I also like to observe the other members so I can provide constructive criticism so that they can improve their work ethic and learn from their mistakes.

[A]: Is there anything that you don't like as an iL?

[K]: Tbh, I cannot think of anything that I don't like

[A]: What do you like the most as an iL?

[K]: Having the ability to make change and helping people.

[A]: What kind of team do you lead and what do you do for that?

[K]: I lead the Royal Family (the iLs). I basically update quests for the iLs each day, keep track of their overall progress, host iL meetings each week to discuss important information and changes.

Our next iL interviewee is :Tanya [T] and is currently a 3iL.

[A]: What does a day in the life of an iL look like?

[T]: Well, every day I usually try to prioritize getting a couple of the iL quests done for the day. They are good to keep us active and involved within the KoH community, so they are beneficial to becoming a better iL. Other than that, I usually look through the TKC chat as I am the co-leader with Paige. We have to make sure everything is running smoothly and our members are well informed and happy. Other duties throughout the day include being available in base for help desk duties, keeping up with the badge admin duties, etc

[A]: Do you enjoy being able to use the iL chair and the help desk?

[T]: I LOVE the help desk. I love being available to help out members, old and new, to make their KoH experience better. The iL chair is fun too I like being able to give assistance to our dedicated security team. I hope they don't mind me spying on them. >:D

[A]: Is there anything that you don't like as an iL?

[T]: Hmm well, there's nothing I don't enjoy but there are things that are challenges as an iL, such as dealing with trolls, and even harder to deal with, disrespectful members. I only want what's best for KoH so it is difficult to distribute the correct disciplines when you try hard to please everyone.

[A]: What do you like the most as an iL?

[T]: It's hard to pick between two things. 1. I'm so, so honored to be co-lead of TKC with Paige. Paige is one of my dearest friends in Habbo and I consider it a great pleasure to work with her on my favorite team with some awesome members. I look forward to meeting with Paige every week and developing TKC so that it is the *Cough* best team! But also, 2. The team of iL members we have are absolutely wonderful. It is definitely one of my favorite things to work closely with such wonderful people who have all earned their position as dedicated KoH members who care about the good of the agency and its well being. I am very lucky to not only work with them, but also have made good friends with the iLs of KoH.

[A]: What kind of team do you lead and what do you do for that?

[T]: I talked about it a lot already LOL. Well, I lead TKC with Paige! We run this Kingdom Chronicles blog that you are all reading right now. We give our members tasks to complete each week, with different roles from Reporters to Creative Authors. We pride ourselves on our diverse team of talent and I hope I do a good job co-leading. x3

Our last but not the least iL interviewee is Quarterchub Aka Mike [M], and he is currently a 4iL. [A]: What does a day in the life of an iL look like?

[M]: My day as an iL is always exciting. While balancing real life with Habbo may be hard, I look forward to spending time being a leader of KoH each and every day. Being an iL, you must be a great team leader. While I'm still learning the ropes of being a successful leader I am always anticipating what's next. I hope to encourage the growth of KoH, and hope people will love the agency as much as I do.

[A]: Do you enjoy being able to use the iL chair and the help desk?

[M]: I enjoy being able to use both. The iL chair is an awesome way to observe people while letting them know I'm not afk by watching while FTB. I believe it makes people more comfortable knowing that someone is actually watching them work hard. The help desk is another way to do something I love. Actually helping people with any questions! I can also accept badges and aim to make members happy knowing they are accepted.

[A]: Is there anything that you don't like as an iL?

[M]: I like everything about an iL. The responsibility, the leadership and being respected all come with being an iL. I don't recognize anything that any iL wouln't like unless they can't handle the work, but that's expected before becoming an iL.

[A]: What do you like the most as an iL?

[M]: The thing I like most about being an iL are the three things, responsibility, leadership and respect.

[A]: What kind of team do you lead and what do you do for that?

[M]: I am the leader of the Transfer Unit and I am still adjusting to leading. Everything seems to be running smoothly, but my responsibilities include checking applications, accepting eligible applicants, setting up/having meetings, removing inactive/transfers/KAs from the badge, reporting to the Prince and furthering the growth of the Team.

Here at The Kingdom of Habbo, the theme day event was successful and had tons of fun wearing their favorite Flag! Congrats to those who won on that theme day!
